Sunwell Plateau - Instant respawn farming

It is very similar to the Blackwing Lair exploit (Blackwing Lair - Insane cloth/gold farm.), but this one can be done by any class with the ability to drop combat (or even for every class if you have a specific item that makes you drop combat).

Where is it?
At the very entrance of Sunwell Plateau

What are we going to kill?

All the mobs from the packs except Sunblade Slayer OR Sunblade Dawn Priest (the ones with the red circle around in the picture below). You only need to keep ONE of them alive and then drop combat. If you do it right the mob you left alive will run back to his spawn location and all the other mobs will respawn instantly.

They are just a few mobs, why should I farm here?
Because they not only drop a lot of epics and lots of gems (5g each) but also because they drop lots of expensive boe patterns (for example: Plans: Dirge, which sells for around 10k and even more on some realms).

TL;DR
  • Kill all the adds from a certain pack but keep at least 1 Sunblade Slayer or Sunblade Dawn Priest alive
  • Drop combat
  • Repeat.

Tips:
  • Be very careful with the Sunblade Slayer, since they got a god damn damaging skill that kills you in 8 seconds (25% total life every 2 seconds) so kill those first.
  • More packs = more loot, try to get as many packs of mobs as you can but let at least one mob alive before dropping combat.
  • Use marks on them for making it easier to know what to kill and what not to kill. Use cc's on those marked adds.
  • If by some reason you fail and kill everyone just leave the instance and reset. After all, you are next to the entrance
  • For rogues it's super simple: Sap one add and Blind another one, kill everything (except the ones stated above), Stealth (or Vanish if you got in combat) and repeat.

Blackwing Lair - Insane cloth/gold farm.

Basically in Blackwing Lair just after the suppression room boss (Broodlord Lashlayer) you can farm the trash an unlimited amount of times without ever leaving the instance.

Requires:
A class that can drop combat (Feign death, Invisibility, Salyin Battle Banner item or whatever else you can drop combat with.)
The ability to do AOE magic damage (This isn't required, just makes it 50x easier)

How to do it:
Pull as much of the packs in the room as you can (can pull both floors if you want). LoS until everything is stacked up and AOE with magic damage (Hunters can use explosive trap). You want to kill everything but the Spellbinders, spellbinders are immune to magic damage which is why they won't die. Once everything is dead you can drop combat, the spellbinders will run back to where you got them and all the trash that you killed will respawn instantly.
Again, it is very important. DO NOT kill the spell binders or this won't work.

After 20 minutes of doing this (Roughly 10 pulls of the entire section) I got 1400 Runecloth, around 25g+ Just from looting the silver, 1 boe epic weapon, a bunch of green transmog gear which sells for 50g-300g+ each and 1 extremely rare black smithing recipe that sells for over 5k (Plans: Titanic Leggings)

This is after 2 pulls, as you can see there is A LOT of dead mobs and everything is still alive in the background.

And these are the 2 rooms that you are pulling the trash from

Note: If you aren't very geared sneak ahead and kill Firemaw the dragon boss before you pull this, so you don't pull him while you are gathering trash.

Enjoy!

That feel when you transfer your character, go through dozens of names that are unavailable, put one in as a joke and...

This is why you make a level 1 to test out your naming options. If you open a ticket, you might get a sympathetic GM, or just have your friends report your name until you get a rename.

Transmogrification: Sunreaver Vanguard - Monk

The goal here was to find some use for the Monk Challenge Mode set. Ultimately I decided the shirt was the item I liked the most, and the gloves do a great job of staying out of the shirt's way. Over time, it's become one of my favorite transmog sets and is completely unique to me so far.

It's worth noting that the majority of this set is Pandaria gear. This is why I disagree when whiny people complain that item artwork has gone downhill.
  • Helm: Helm of Assassination
  • Shoulders: Bonechewer Shoulderguards
  • Chest: Chestwrap of the Regal Lord
  • Waist: Expedition Girdle
  • Legs: Riou's Vigilant Leggings
  • Feet: Pandaren Roofsprinters
  • Gloves: Handwraps of the Regal Lord
  • Cloak: Fen-Yu, Fury of Xuen (not shown)
  • Tabard: Sunreaver Onslaught Tabard
  • Shirt: Wraps of the Blood-Soaked Brawler
  • Main hand: Claw of the Phoenix
  • Off hand: Claw of the Phoenix

Keep transformed without Equipped trinket. (Mages Only)

  1. Use the trinket.
  2. Cast "Alter Time".
  3. Remove the trinket.
  4. Now the buff is there, without trinket.

Enjoy!
