Bypass walls and pvp invulnerability exploits

Walk through walls in Strand of the Ancients.

When defending, put down a mushroom chair in the exact location shown in the video in round 1.
In round 2, jump on the chair and walk straight through the gate, without the need to destroy it.
Your whole team can do this.

Semi-invulnerability while defending Isle Of Conquest.

Put down a chair underneath the gate when it goes up at the start of the bg. When the gate comes
down again, jump on the chair and inside the gate. This is very powerful for defenders. It allows you
to bypass the teleport cooldown and move in and out of the keep at will, defuse bombs without
interrupts and, on the edge of the gate, puts you in a semi-invulnerable state where you can draw
multiple attackers without being seriously damaged.

Defend flags in Deepwind Gorge protected by a teleport field.*

Place darkmoon tiger inside one of mines at the beginning of the releport field. Jump on the tiger
using Votuus's early start method (Early Start in Battlegrounds 5.4.8 By VoTuUS - World of Warcraft Movies).

This allows you to defend the flag protected from all melee attacks, as melee attackers are instantly
ported out if they get close to you.

Ninja cap carts in Silvershard Mines inside the drop-off points.

Put down a mushroom chair inside one of the payload deposit points at the exact point shown in
the video. This makes you invulnerable to melee as no one can get in there easily, and protected
from range attacks on three sides. Particulary for stealth using classes this makes ninja-capping
carts very easy.

Blizzard has "six or seven" World of Warcraft expansions planned; "easily 10 years worth of stuff"

World of Warcraft director Tom Chilton has revealed that Blizzard have “six or seven” expansions planned for their iconic MMORPG. While the expansion that will arrive after Warlords of Draenor is already in active development, a number of others clocking up “10 years worth of stuff” are being discussed.

“I think it’ll be quite a while before the financials indicate that it’s just not worth doing anymore."

Speaking to Gameplanet, Tom Chilton confirmed that they’re already thinking far into the future of World of Warcraft. ”There are about six or seven different ideas for expansions that we can take elements of and say, ‘You know what? Let’s take that and put it in this one for our next expansion after the next one.’ Or we might shift the timelines around from what we originally envisioned. There’s easily 10 years worth of stuff that we can draw from – more, really.”

The expansion after the upcoming Warlords of Draenor is already in active development, and they’re already starting to think about next. “We are already in progress with our next expansion.” explained Chilton. “We already have zones in production for it. Our next expansion after that, we have a couple of different options that we’ll be choosing between over the next several months.”

When asked about the next decade of Word of Warcraft’s future, Chilton seems confident it’ll still be around. “I think that not only do we have content planned out for a good amount of time, I also think that while MMOs go through a life-cycle, the life-cycle tends to be very long.” stated Chilton. “As long as there are enough players demanding that we make more content then we’re likely to do so. I think it’ll be quite a while before the financials indicate that it’s just not worth doing anymore.”

Did somebody say Emerald Dream?

Durumu the Forgotten

Durumu was one of the bosses I would really take my time and teach the LFR team about, no need to be a dick to anyone. I think it's pathetic when people get pissed off due to a few out of a massive group not understanding a fight. Not everyone started playing wow when you did, for all you know it's their first attempt on the boss and even if it's their hundredth attempt you should take the initiative and explain it to them, mark yourself and have them follow you.

If you really want an increase in the performance of players in random dungeons and raids you need to start being empathetic and teaching them strats, then one day you may get lucky and wind up in a group with a bunch of people who know the fight and have a positive attitude. I mean it's a fucking video game if you're not playing it to relax and have fun you shouldn't play it.

Tailor Gold Making Guide

Small Gold making Tip at the End of the expansion when people dump their shit - you need a TAILOR toon.

Scoop the AH for Windwool Cloth and buy any stacks at 14g or less. Also advertise in trade chat that youre looking for this.

Now what you craft is the 458 PVP Cloak for Strength Classes (of Prowess), as it vendors for 17g04s77c. Nets you a profit of 3g per Cloak, if done in bulks this is quite profitable similar to the Inscription MOP Herb Should Enchant Shuffle a the Start of the Expansion.

Hacker Problems in Azeroth

On Sunday, a hacker group called Lizard Squad swung into action against a number of highly vulnerable networks and online objectives with apparently one thing in mind: to create havoc and mayhem.

US users of the PlayStation network were unable to log on through their PS 3 and PS 4 consoles through Sunday. The message they were served said the network was down for maintenance.

The same hacker group has apparently managed to take down a number of Blizzard servers as well, disrupting World of Warcraft and a number of other online games like the eSports staple League of Legends and Path of Exile.

According to the targeted operations, the hacker attack was essentially a DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack, which overwhelmed the targeted servers and networks with artificially generated traffic.

The same hacker group is also rumored to have made threats against a flight on which a Sony executive traveled. Apparently, the said American Airlines flight has been diverted to Phoenix, AZ as a cautionary measure.

According to emails sent out by Sony late Sunday, most of the affected services had been restored. It is unclear at this point whether the WOW servers are back up as well.

Exactly who these hackers have a bone to pick with is unclear at this point. What is known though in regards to the above said attacks is that the FBI is now involved in the investigation.

Warlords of Draenor on sale at Amazon!

Classic... Undercutting the auction house. Probably using the mobile app.

Note to anyone pre-ordering on Amazon: You will not get your lvl 90 boost until launch.

Fuck you, my orc is a beautiful creature

I feel like this analysis could absolutely break someone. This is basically a massive insecurity generator.

So that's why he wanted to destroy the world:

In his defense, you've indicated his ears incorrectly. Besides, why else do you think he'd have those goblins hammer those metal plates into him? And that damn Alexstrasza, just strutting around.

...Maybe he wasn't such a bad guy.

Frost weave farming spots

Here is a video to show three spots i use for frostweave farming i am sure there is better but i don't know where.

Robin Williams to be featured in WOW as an NPC

Robin Williams’ untimely death has certainly struck a chord with people all over the world, and the reactions to his apparent suicide were numerous and ran a wide gamut from rage and finger-pointing to sorrow and sympathy towards his family. Amid this controversy, Blizzard have apparently decided to pay a fitting tribute to the late comedian by including/immortalizing him in their World of Warcraft MMORPG.

According to some files picked up from the latest beta build of the game, the tribute will take the shape of an NPC, a genie, called Robin ;The Entertainer.

Since genies are capable of shape-shifting in the game, Robin, The Entertainer may take up a number of other incarnations. Popular among the players is the idea of a troll called Jumanji.

A human male may also be in the works, called Mork, as well as a female, a reference to the Mrs. Doubtfire character played by the late actor.

No actual details about any of the above said characters are yet known though. It is unclear what the NPC’s role will be, whether it will offer any quests and where exactly it’ll be located within the game world.

Fans have apparently also petitioned Nintendo to add a similar tribute to Robin Williams to its Legends of Zelda game, a petition heard, but not yet addressed by the company.

Social media has reacted in a wild and uncontrolled manner to the actor’s death, prompting his daughter to quit Twitter and Facebook to escape the slander and the unbridled abuse.

The incident elicited a response from Twitter as well. According to Del Harvey, Twitter’s vice president of trust and safety, a number of accounts have been suspended in the wake of the problems targeting Zelda Williams, and the social media site has begun a review of its policies in regards to such tragic situations.

Transmogrification: Diablo Inspired Angelic Priest

For this Diablo inspired angelic mog I could have gone mostly Priest PvE tier 5 but just wanted the shoulders. I also didn’t want robes hence the tunic that I used. I also try to keep to higher ilvl items for mogging as the item model’s resolution is higher and looks better closer up. All items can be easily farmed with the exception of the shoes which are from current Heroic raid content.

Weapons etc are personal choice and I thought the staff Devotion would have worked too.http://www.wowhead.com/item=46025

Head: Cowl of Benevolence http://www.wowhead.com/item=32329

Shoulders: Mantle of the Avatar http://www.wowhead.com/item=30154

Chest: Shadow Council Tunic http://www.wowhead.com/item=24663

Hands: Gloves of Unfailing Faith http://www.wowhead.com/item=32353

Belt: Girdle of Nullified Infiltration http://www.wowhead.com/item=57296

Pants: Leggings of Charity http://www.wowhead.com/item=58160

Feet: Toxic Tornado Treads (ilvl 566) http://www.wowhead.com/item=104541

Cape: Jina-Kang, Kindness of Chi-Ji http://www.wowhead.com/item=102247/jina-kang-kindness-of-chi-ji

Non-Legendary Cape for mogging Bonelink Cape http://www.wowhead.com/item=15611

Tabard: Unaffiliated Guild Tabard – or guild tabard with a white theme. Argent Crusader's Tabard Also works but isn’t as minimal.

Staff: Icecore Staff http://www.wowhead.com/item=45886

I finally just realized this.

Feels kinda weird that they just used the Lordaeron crest for the Forsaken. I guess their own crest might have been tough to make a silhouette of, or something? But SUCK IT, PANDAREN! ...and goblins...and blood elves

And here's the Alliance version:

Potential Money Maker - ToyBox [WoD]

First of all, this is just a guess from my side - it could even have the opposite effect!

So, with WoD, Blizzard will introduce a new feature called ToyBox, this will make certain novelty items into Toys, making them account wide and usable just like spells.

I believe that this feature will make certain items sky-rocket in price, for instance the Orb of Deception, which then no-longer would be a usable trinket but instead a spell, usable at any time. The Toybox will also give players awareness of the available toy items and increase demand for these types of novelty thingys.

How the Toy Box Works:
  • The Toy Box is a new tab in Collections, with Mounts and Pets.
  • To add an item to the Toy Box, simply click on the item and it will be added to the interface. If you have the same vanity item stored on a different character, it will say the item is already known and it is safe to delete.
  • On the Toy Box pane, your collection progress is tracked and you can also filter by Source, although that is currently broken on beta. You can also type in words in the search box and it will narrow down the displayed list of items.
  • Once an item is in the toybox, you can set it as a Favorite by right-clicking. This moves it to the top page.
  • The Toy Box also displays the toys you haven't collected yet with a greyed-out tint, so you are inspired to collect them.

Potential bind on use items or similar to stock for WoD:

Old School Farming: Gold, Greens, Pets and Mounts

Part One: Introduction

What do I farm to get lots of greens?

If you're anything like me, I tend to get bored just farming the same thing day in and day out, and also have a lot of mounts to still work on. So i developed a route that would allow me to hit a variety of different dungeons and raids, work on my mount and pet collection and still get a great amount of greens, money and cloth.

As you may have guessed, this guide is more an example of how to more efficiently farm old school content by providing a list of possible places to farm, the fastest order to complete them in, and hopefully in the future, an average time, gold per run and greens/cloth/valuable items collected. Right now, I am going to show you the instances and raids that I personally farm each week, but I will try to expand this to include all raids with rare pets and mounts. This guide will only include places that you can solo though, so anything else you won't see here.

Disclaimer: This is not the most efficient way of making money. This is a way to get a bit more variety in Auction House greens and make it a bit more fun and self-rewarding.

Also, since I currently only have a horde at level 90, I apologize to my alliance friends. You can use this as a cheat sheet on things to run, but I'm afraid the route will be vastly different for you.

Part Two: Dungeons and Raids

If you already have a route, or are only interested in a few places, this is cheat sheet for dungeons and raids I'll be routing out, as well as a list of additional places to farm (depending on your needs).

Mounts
  • Vortex Pinnacle
  • Zul'Gurub
  • Tempest Keep,
Pets
  • Molten Core
  • Blackwing Lair
  • Karazan
  • Serpentshrine Cavern
  • Tempest Keep
  • Ruins/Temple of Ahn'Qiraj(mounts, great transmog gear, pets)

Optional Places
  • Ulduar(mounts)
  • Zul'Aman (mount/pet)
  • Naxxramas(pets)
  • Grim Batol (excellent place to farm cata greens check out Sophistical's guide)
  • Fireland's (mounts, not sure if solo'able)
  • ICC(mounts, again not sure if solo'able)
  • Stratholme(mount)
  • Stonecore(mount)
  • The Obsidian Sanctum 25 (mount)
  • Utgarde Keep

Part Three: The Route

Now we're going to get to the actual route part. For the initial version of this guide, I will be showing you how to efficiently farm: Vortex Pinnacle, Ruins/Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, Onyxia, Zul'Gurub, Karazan, Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep in that order. The total travel time for these instances is approximately 29 min 45 seconds with 310% flight speed. I cannot tell you how long it takes to run each instance as that depends on the class, role and item level, but in the future I may try to give you the times as a feral druid tank.

Step 1: Vortex Pinnacle (~2 minutes)
The starting point for this guide will be Orgrimmar. From here, take the portal to Uldum and fly southeast to Vortex Pinnacle. For this mount you may farm it to your heart's content on either normal difficulty, or run it once on heroic. This is a great place to get Volatile Air from (which sell like hot cakes) but does not have the highest gold per hour.

Step 2: Ahn'Qiraj (~3 minutes)
From Vortex Pinnacle, you will be flying Northwest to the Temple/Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj. If you are just looking for pets (and some particularly rare enchanting recipes) just run Temple. Ruins is a great place to farm trash for some very high priced transmog gear. If you're interested in this, check out Toxxer's guide.

Step 3: Onyxia (~4 minutes)
After running AQ, fly Northeast to Onyxia. This is a pretty quick instance and has a chance to drop the annoyingly low drop rate Ony mount. Make sure you have some ranged abilities as she does have a flight phase.

Step 4: Zul'Gurub (~4 minutes)
In order to go from Onyxia to Zul'Gurub, we will be taking the boat in Ratchet. Fly North to Ratchet from Onyxia (~2 minutes) and take the boat to Stranglethorn. There may be some additional wait time depending on when the boat arrives. The 4 minute travel time was with a boat that arrived as I was flying up, so I had minimal wait time. Once you arrive in Booty Bay, fly North to Zul'Gurub. Zul'Gurub offers two different mounts, so make sure to kill High Priestess Kilnara and Bloodlord Mandokir

Step 5: Karazan (~1 minute)
From Zul'Gurub, fly North and a hair East to Karazan. I highly recommend running Karazan once a week because it is a fantastic place for greens, pets and a chance at a mount. It also has some great enchanting recipes and is extremely easy to complete at level 90. For the mount, make sure to killAttumen/Midnight, for pets, kill Terestian Illhoof, Opera (Little Red Riding Hood), The Curator and Prince Malchezzar. As you can see, Kara is a great place for your pet collection and will also put a decent chunk of gold in your pocket.

Step 6: Blackwing Lair and Molten Core (~2 minutes)
Molten Core and Blackwing Lair offer a combined 6 pets and are fairly straightforward runs. In Molten Core, there are some epic boe's that have a decent sell price on the auction house, so you can either skip the trash (its easy to run around without aggro'ing) or you can pull and kill everything.

Step 7: Serpentshrine Cavern (~8 minutes)
After you have completed Molten Core and Blackwing Lair, hearth back to Orgrimmar and take the portal to the Blasted Lands. (Alternately, if your hearthstone is set to Summer's Rest, you can take the portal to Shattrath). From here, you will be flying West(or North if you're in Shattrath) to Serpentshrine Cavern. SSC is a huge raid instance so if you are only in it for pets to sell, you can kill Lady Vashj first (she has a chance to drop a very rare pet--it sells for ~4k on my server). Other bosses to kill for pets are:Hydross the Unstable and Morogrim Tidewalker.

Step 8: Tempest Keep (~5 minutes)
Tempest Keep is going to be the last instance for this guide and it is definitely a great place to end, with every boss having the chance to drop a pet or mount all fights are pretty easy with the exception of Kael'thas. For this fight, I would suggest looking up some youtube videos for your class before trying the fight.

However, the main thing you need to make sure you do is equip the Staff of Disintegration and make sure to right click it for the buff once equipped. Also make sure you don't have any pets summoned or he will mind control you and the fight will reset.

This about sums up the WoW forums

They've been complaining about the warts that the new Troll female models have. They have always had warts! -_- Heaven forbid we expect troll women to look, well, trollish. Even a bit.

Honestly, I don't give a shit. I got into the anti-hype train big when MoP was announced. Like most people I was pissed that we had to spend an expansion dealing with kung fu pandas instead of detailing the story. I though Blizz was only interested in attracting more kids to play and that the game would go Fisher Price.

Then it came out, I leveled a 90 and shut the fuck up. Pandaria is amazing and is hands down the best designed and most detailed of all the new continents. The story was deep, involved and well thought out while drawing on existing lore to answer old questions. I'm excited to get to Draenor, not just to see how Outland used to be, but to explore all the little hidden bits of the cultures of Outland. MoP did an excellent job giving me a feel for Pandaren, Mogu, Jinyu, Hozen, etc cultures differed from each other and what made them all unique. I can't wait to see the Orcs, Draenei, Orges and Arakkoa get the same treatment.

Non Instanced Elites for Frostweave Farming, Very Fast Respawn + Updated WotLK Loot.

Sometimes tailors don't prepare well for the grind to 600 skill. This guide will let you pwn them at the difficult spot.

People tend to run out of a few things doing tailoring without a guide -- you guys noticed silk is a bettycrockerblocker and quite overpriced on some mid-pop servers!
Frostweave happens to be one of these Tailoring choke points too, so here's a simple way out of that:

WotLK: Northrend: Icecrown: THE BOMBARDMENT

Bombardment (Icecrown) - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft

(Northrend Tailoring book helpful here? Not sure if necessary because > Undead not Humanoid)

...you might be thinking, "those mobs don't drop loot", right?
But -- Some of you noticed their loot tables were upgraded since the time Wowhead people claimed the mobs don't drop loot.
Believe it or not, these Icecrown elites (in Bombardment ONLY) drop 1-4 Frostweave very often, groups of 3+ very often drop at least 1g.
They drop all the grey weapons, greens and armor that you'd expect to find from instance mobs.

What you need:

  • a good (fast) ground or flying mount to round up groups of mobs
  • a character with enough gear to farm level 80 Icecrown Elites. Not sure where that becomes comfortable -- at level 90 just about anyone with a good AoE should find this quite comfortable.
  • room in your bag
  • tailoring (preferably!) to reduce the Frostweave into bolts
  • BONUS Enchanting to shard the greens, turn Infinite Dust and Frostweave Bolt into Bolt of Imbued Frostweave.

What you do:
get on your mount and gather about 3 groups of stitched abomination and enraged fleshrenders/footsoldiers.

these should all be elites. if you see non elites you've gone too far south and left the Bombardment.
the giants do not have a loot table so you would be wasting your time.

keep to the north, check next to the gate, and make a big circle around the mini-zone as you gather up and kill mobs.

on a shadow priest with a regular mount, i was able to round up about 15 mobs per average pull, sometimes many more or less.

average loot for these kills is about 3g per pull plus greens, cloth, scrolls, POTIONS, greys.

At this spot you could probably craft 5-10 frostweave bags per hour, earn roughly 300-600g per hour from looting and vendoring the greys and potions alone.

Cosmic Essence isn't too useful but it can be sold or used for scrolls.

If you decide to just sell Infinite Dust on your server that works too, along with the stacks of raw Frostweave.

...Not sure if it would be too safe to bot here but I hardly ever see anyone flying over. Mostly just miners and people doing the quests at Bombardment.

Otherwise they remember the deeply ingrained misery that it USED to be at the Bombardment and fail to realize you can make more gold per H here than in Naxxramas...

Hope this helps if some of you were bored and needing a low key place to farm in peace without the opposite faction bothering you constantly.

It's not MoP greys that vendor for 11g apiece but it's a place where a level 90 should never die. And the gold the mobs drop easily covers any repairs that need to be made.

Have fun and tell me if you found a lot of cloth!

A Free Reusable Flask on 10M Timer, +500 to Each Stat, 2h ~ Farmed from MoP Rare

Some if not most of you might have seen or collected this by now, but people with newer characters in Pandaria content would really enjoy having this loot.

CRYSTAL OF INSANITY ~ dropped by rare spawn lizard man Sulik'Shor in Valley of the Four Winds.

Sulik'shor

Sulik'Shor's chance to drop this thing (the crystal) is about 10% according to Wowhead.

Crystal of Insanity

But here's the tooltip:
Crystal of Insanity
Item Level 1
Binds when picked up
Unique
Use: Increases all stats by 500 for 1 hour. Counts as both a Battle and Guardian elixir. (15 Min Cooldown)
Requires Level 85
"Almost seems to be staring back at you."
Dropped by: Sulik'shor
Drop Chance: 9.58%

The dude spawns like a typical MoP non elite rare, about once per 50 min or less.
So you can park your toon there and chill out waiting for him to return.

There is also a small chance he can drop the Brawler's Guild invitation. (.

One day I was hunting Rares in a zone where I'd done no quests and after killing Sulik this FINE FINE treasure was in my bag.
And I thought it was a Void Crystal and put it in the bank for about a week without using it... oh my god.

So just in case you're an enchanter be careful, it's not a crystal it's a free alchemist flask for all professions ....

Transmogrification: I am Forsaken!

This set took quite some time to put together, mostly because of rng drop rates. Here is a list of the items used, its basically 10&25 Naxx, and Trial of the Champion. I Love those shoulders, they really bring the transmog together. I might try doing something like this on the alliance. Also, what mount is that? I haven't played in a while and I'm kind of out of the loop, but I don't think I've ever seen it.

reminiscing about endgame raiding in vanilla

I had one job as a raiding Pally in my guild's MC runs back in Vanilla: Spec deep enough into prot for Blessing of Sanctuary and reapply to our tanks every 5 minutes. In between, I Flashed same said tanks. It was both one of the most thrilling and boring experiences of my life.

WoD Enhance Shaman w new Bladefist model

I personally like melee in WoW, not a fan of channeled spells where I have to stand still. That being said I really like Enhancement - they made the rotation tighter in WoD also. I did try Elemental but also found them lacking - enhancement is a lot of front loaded damage. Like a bursty rogue with spells thrown in and better healing.

Only-Druid guild is turning 9 years. [9 years in Pictures]

The lack of raid buffs makes my head hurt. Freaking awesome though, but must be a nightmare

Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj transmog farm

Introduction:
In this guide we will be looking at farming trash inside Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj for transmog gear that sells for ridiculous amounts of gold on the action house.

We will be running through the raid instance without killing any bosses, so we’re able to run out and reset without getting saved.

Installing these addons is not required but it will make it a lot easier knowing if the item is worth keeping and posting the items you’ve farmed on the AH later on, will explain how to use them later.

Create an account on WoWuction and select your realm, then go to Resources > Data Export and download "Get TSM_WoWuction module data export for YOUR SERVER" put the .lua file into /Interface/Addons/TradeSkillMaster_WoWuction

The raid instance is located in the south of Silithus (Check screenshot). If you have the portal to Uldum from Org/SW that would most likely be the fastest way.

Blue = Optional
Red = Normal run

When you get to the 2nd boss, make sure to not kill any trash inside the room! That's gonna get you saved and you wont be able to reset the instance.

*Important*

When you are doing the run you will run into these small neutral mobs called Silicate feeder, KILL these small bastards! These also drops highly valuable transmog pieces.

To make your runs smoother:

• Stay on your mount as much as possible to make it easier to pull bigger packs of mobs.
• When killing a bigger pack of mobs stand against a wall to avoid getting knocked back.

Now that you’re picking up green items here and there it’s important to decide which items you want to be selling as transmog on the AH and what items you want to vendor. I usually save everything worth more than 100g and vendor the rest. If you don’t mind posting a lot of auctions you can of course lower the minimum amount you will save an item for, I’m just lazy :P

When you’re picking up an item and hover over it you will see that this tooltip comes up

Here you want to be looking at the Global market median because it’s the most accurate price for the item. After running the raid a few times I would recommend sending the gear you want to sell to an alt. If you’re posting all the transmog gear on your main it will be a pain managing all the bag space and it will save you a lot of time.

we posted a sick thread explaining how to post your transmog gear, check it out here.
However it’s a little bit outdated because The Undermine Journal recently shut down so in this guide we will be using Wowuction instead.

The only difference is that you change some of the settings for your Operation in TSM.

Create a TSM group and add all your transmog gear you want to sell.
Make an operation with the following settings and add it to the group:

Minimum Price: “30% wowuctionRegionMedian”
Maximum Price: “150% wowuctionRegionMedian”
Normal Price: “95% wowuctionRegionMedian”
When Below Minimum: “Don’t Post Items”
When Above Maximum: “Post at Maximum Price”

If you need more information about posting the auctions I suggest reading Stevesgamebox’s thread (even if you don’t need any info I highly recommend checking it out).

That’s it! Thanks for taking your time reading this post and it’s time to make some bank ;)
